Beyond Myself

How is it I see what I could be
without yet knowing the true me?
Well
I herald humility to faithfully follow
a definite desire to alleviate the liar inside of me.
So rather than bitch and moan about failing alone
I did what I’ve not done before.
I pulled my nose out of the book and took a look
at others who have what I want.
Much time with my fellows
filled the bellows beneath my wings;
suavely soaring beyond time, only to find
actions that align with mine
and decree a Mastermind
with a sincere attempt to be a better me.
