Spring is a time of change.
A time when the dormancy of life becomes alive.
Transition from the lifeless into the lifeful.
A time when the brightness overtakes the darkness.
When the Yin moves into the Yang, life becomes truly alive.
It can be seen as the days become longer and the nights shorter.
As the animals increase activity and frolic with each other.
Plants emerge from the earth with a budding grace that seems as if they were summoned by some great force.
The once sleeping trees awaken with a green ferocity that rivals the powerful rains that brought forth such green life.
Spring can be felt in the changing breeze and warming sun.
Felt by the move from cold to warm.
And smelt by cool rains and manure applied to fields.
It is a time when all of the senses come alive alongside the beauty that is life.
